(As I sneak this newsletter in while it's still my birthday month...)
One of the things that makes every birthday special for me is that I share the day with my precious auntie, Monessa Overby, and this year, Monessa marked 90 trips around the sun on Sept. 7th, our shared birthday. (My arrival was a gift to her on her 27th birthday, but please don't do the math!) Monessa is a remarkable woman, having devoted her life to the church and to treating families saddled with addiction, and it's been a treat to celebrate with her once again this year.
